The Dust Revival Band + Inga Liljestrom @ The Beast (Melbourne)

The Dust Revival Band  (TDRB) & Inga Liljestrom perform at The Beast for a special instalment of Outlaws and Troubadours. TDRB  are a Melbourne seven piece with a repertoire that spans folk-rock, psychedelic, cinematic and electronic influences. TDRB started 20 years ago as Dust, my  first band after my previous outfit, electronic femme-tech duo B(If)tek, split up. TDRB glide through diverse catchy tunes from Neil Young/ Crazy Horse inspired alt.country to UFO inspired saxophone infused EDM. Inga Liljestrom is an Australian/ Finish experimental vocalist and composer, renowned for her haunting vocals, evocative lyrics and explorative sonic landscapes. Her style is also diverse, from cinematic Nordic landscapes to dry desert terrain. Recently she has been exploring intimate solo performances of voice and electric guitar that fuses genres, that is both powerful and emotive. Entry free.
